The Women in Film Project started November 2020 in Orlando, Florida. Since then, it has expanded to over 20 photoshoots in 10 cities with the intent of spreading across the country. The project helps introduce the new wave of film, where women are brought into the spotlight, front and center.
Amplifying true talent that tells a story and harnesses hope for the future generations of film. Evolving an industry that has been stagnant for too long, the project intends on setting a new standard for film to be an environment where women are valued for their unique gift and empowered to use their voice to break down barriers. Women are autonomous over their success in the filmmaking industry and by spotlighting their stories, we encourage a shift in perception for generations to come.
